Our Uganda based customer required a windows based Point of Sale system which can run individual supermarkets as well as chain of supermarkets. In case of supermarket chain, data has to be in synchronization with server at headquarter. Developing a powerful POS system also requires integrating system that joins sales, inventory, purchasing, accounting and bookkeeping functions into one application.

To develop an integrated application for retail industry, which can automate checkout transactions at any individual retail outlet or supermarket chain.

Key Challenges of the project were:

• Developing and integrating accounting modules and 64 accounting reports
• Live screen monitoring of 6 different Tills from Back Office
• Screen with online cash position and ongoing real time transactions of the Tills

• Stock valuation on basis of FIFO, Last Cost, and Last Price & Average Cost
• Barcode and Shelf label printing supporting multiple printer type
• Orders or quotes can be directly sent to supplier or customer on email or can be printed
